Era Shrestha

Vice President
Development management consultant, with 15+ years of experience in the area of organisation development and development programming. Era has worked closely with Civil Society Organisations (CSO) at the forefront of building human rights movement particularly of youth, women, people with disabilities and other marginalized communities. She has undertaken several evaluations, most of which focused on human rights, social justice, empowerment and movement building. She has facilitated designing of development interventions and planning. As an OD expert Era had supported organization strengthen their systems, develop policy frameworks and define their strategic directions. She is also active as a learning facilitator. She has led several research and studies.

Srishti Vaidya

Treasurer

Srishti is the Finance and HR Director of Vaidya Group- a conglomerate involved in various sectors such as Trade, Construction, Real Estate and Automobile. She is also the Vice Consul for the Honorary Consulate of Ukraine in Nepal where she is responsible for communicating and maintaining relations with Ukrainians in Nepal and reporting directly to the Embassy of Ukraine in India.

In 2016 Srishti has received her Bachelors and Masters in Business Administration from on of the top 10 Public Business Schools in the US- Kelley School of Business, Indiana University Bloomington, through an accelerated program.

Srishti also founded the Kathmandu Book Club in 2019 to promote a reading culture in Nepal and encourage people to develop and evolve their minds through active discussion with peers. Currently she is the Vice-Curator for the Global Shapers Kathmandu Hub, an initiative of the World Economic Forum (WEF), a Climate Reality Leader at The Climate Reality Project and the Youth Committee Member with the Management Association of Nepal (MAN).

Subodh Adhikari

Secretary
Subodh Adhikari is a licensed advocate from Nepal Bar Council. Starting his professional career as an intern at the Legislative-Parliament Secretariat in 2013, he holds an experience of almost a decade. He is a passionate lawyer and avid learner. His practice mainly entails corporate and commercial law which includes, among others, structuring, governance, and compliance of an organization. He has also been actively involved in collaborating with government authorities for policy reforms and legislative drafting.

Subodh is a strong believer of quality and practical education and believes that practical education and learning are not only a fundamental part of academic excellence, but are also the building blocks of critical thinking and insightful growth.

Subodh holds a LL.B degree from Purbanchal University and LL.M from Tribhuvan University. His academic specialization includes corporate laws and environmental laws and therefore holds a strong knowledge of these subjects.

Binod Prasad Pant

Member

Binod Prasad Pant is an Assistant Professor and Acting Head at the Department of STEAM Education, Kathmandu University, School of Education, Nepal. He earned M Ed and M Phil in Education from Kathmandu University. He served as a visiting fellow at University of Technology (UTS) Sydney after he received Australian Award in 2017/18. Binod has been working with a number of Nepali teachers and teacher educators who examine their lived experiences as students, teachers and teacher educators.

He speaks and writes about pedagogical innovations, uses of technology in education, child friendly classroom, authentic assessment, etc. His research interest is on transformative educational research, participatory action research, mathematics education, STEAM Education and research studies on reflective practices.

Vibhaas Basukala

Member
Vibhaas has his doctorate from Vanderbilt University, Nashville, U.S. He is a critical player in promoting access to justice, especially educational justice, and is very active in the field of education. He is currently a member of the Board of Directors of Hired to Home Inc, a New York based organization, Open Learning Exchange Nepal (OLE Nepal) as an advisor. He is also the CEO of Prime College and Prime Educational Inc. He has contributed significantly in designing and developing teaching materials such as syllabi and visual aids, etc. His core areas of expertise also include analysis of policies, public issues, legislation and the operations of governments, businesses and organizations that influence the human rights status of developing country. He has been involved with diverse organizations in the field of development, and is passionate towärds ensuring quality and equitable education for all.

Aradhana Gurung

Aradhana Gurung is a visionary leader and the CEO of Impact447 Pvt. Ltd., a prominent player in the realm of Innovation Consultancy within the private sector. At the forefront of her organization, Aradhana is dedicated to forging impactful collaborations with humanitarian and development agencies. Impact's unique approach integrates design thinking, communication for development, and research to co-create innovative solutions tailored to address deeply entrenched and intricate challenges.

With a career spanning 19 years, Aradhana has been steadfast in her commitment to empowering marginalized communities, especially women and young people, in decision-making processes. In her various roles at the United Nations, international NGOs, and the private sector, Aradhana has become a driving force in fostering meaningful transformation. Employing methodologies such as communication for behavior impact, human-centered design, and promoting meaningful participation, she has become a trailblazer in driving positive change and addressing complex societal issues.

Udeep Shrestha

Udeep Shrestha, Executive Director of the Panchakanya Group, is a young visionary and exploratory entrepreneur holding Master's degree from SMU with the experience of a decade in automobile, real estate and construction materials. Mr.Shrestha is also the past president of Nepalese Young Entrepreneurs' Forum (NYEF), empowering youths for the development of the industries and contributing to the economy of the nation.

Market intelligence, strategies and developing a business model is his core area of excellence. He believes in discussing ideas and giving it a shape of sustainable business.

Lastly, he is dedicated to improving local business, promoting local products to encourage entrepreneurs and taking steps to make nation self-reliance.

Anamica Gauchan

Member
Anamica is a development professional specialising in education sectoral coordination and policy designand development. She has managed and implemented education programmes focusing on girls education and marginalised communities. Currently,in her role as Technical Lead at the British Council, she is working with the MoEST and CEHRD to develop policies on languages in education focusing on multilingual approaches and develop teacher training resource materials on multilingual pedagogies for early grade learning to ensure that language doesn't remain a barrier for children's learning outcomes. She has worked at grassroots as well as INGOs and UN agencies over the last decade and managed to establish a trust with development partners and government stakeholders through her work. Her fundraising skills are impeccable and she managed to fundraise around USD 20K for COVID-response for the procurement and distribution of oxygen cylinders. She is a mother of a young girl and believes in education and employment opportunities for all. She holds a Mssters degree in Sustainable Development from Kathmandu University School of Education.
